Ascend: Hand of Kul will be re-released as Ascend: Reborn
As announced on Twitter, the game’s official account revealed that Outer Heaven Studios has teamed up with the original game’s developer Signal Studios to re-release the game. “Outer Heaven Studios is excited to announce that we are partnering with Signal Studios to re-release Ascend: Hand of Kul as ‘Ascend: Reborn’. Follow us on social media to stay updated on our progress and learn more about this beloved game.” Shortly after the announcement, Signal Studios released a screenshot of the new game, which we’ve embedded above. Unfortunately, we don’t have any other information about Ascend: Reborn. Platforms and release date have not been announced. Ascend: Hand of Kul was a third-person action-RPG that was one of the first free-to-play games on the Xbox 360. As a warrior of Caos, you would battle against the ‘immortal Titans while fending off attacks from opposing players and establishing your influence on global conflict Ascend.” At the time, the game received mediocre reviews from critics, but was slightly better received by players.
