UPDATE: 13:55 A local resident tells Castanet the fire appears to be under control. BCWS says the Naramata Fire Service is taking responsibility, but fire crews are assisting with five personnel and a helicopter. ORIGINAL: 1:10 p.m. A new fire has broken out in Naramata. BC Wildfire says crews are currently responding. Two helicopters are also en route and have long queues of buckets. At the moment the size of the fire is unknown. Castanet will have more details as they become available.
