Leaked renders have revealed the design of the Apple Watch Pro ahead of its September 7 launch. The smartwatch could be the biggest in the Apple family and could feature a new programmable button.
Apple’s event is just a day away now, and a leak has surfaced of the alleged design of the so-called Apple Watch Pro. Rumors about Apple’s first Pro smartwatch have been swirling for a while now. It’s expected to be a rugged smartwatch, and the CAD leaks shared by 91Mobiles show a chunky wearable indeed. The publication confirms an earlier report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, saying that the Apple Watch Pro will have the largest screen yet on any Apple smartwatch. According to the report, it could be 49mm in size, making it quite a bit larger than the flagship 45mm Apple Watch Series 7. Interestingly, the renders show an additional button on the left side of the frame (pictured above). Gurman, who confirmed the accuracy of the renders, suggests that this new button could be programmable to do whatever users want, such as launch specific apps, workouts or other functions. Elsewhere, the Apple Watch Pro makes another notable design change. The digital crown now sits on a chunky protrusion on the right, giving the smartwatch a more rugged look. Comments
