People who qualify for the first, second, third or fourth dose can be vaccinated at a clinic in Bloomfield Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Bloomfield City Hall (289 Bloomfield Main St.) Limited seats available. It is recommended that you make an appointment in advance through the provincial vaccine booking portal. You can also call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Center at 1.833.943.3900. Walk-ins will only be accepted if space and vaccination are available. An additional vaccine clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 20, from 3-6:30 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Center (375 Picton Main Street, Picton). From September 1, children aged five to 11 can receive their first booster doses after the recommended interval of at least six months after their most recent dose. Ontarians age 18 and older can get a second booster dose. Second booster doses are offered five months after a person receives their first booster dose. You can choose to receive your second booster dose as soon as three months (84 days) after your first booster dose. If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, you should talk to your healthcare provider about the optimal time for your next dose. If you do not have access to a provider, health professionals at the vaccine clinics will be available to talk with you.
