In one of her first acts as prime minister, Truss told the cabinet this morning that there are better ways to reform human rights laws. A senior government source said the bill, which was Dominic Raab’s flagship policy as justice minister before he was sacked by Mr Truss yesterday, was due to return to parliament next week.
